IT’S OPEN TO ALL GIRLS, offering non-competitive football for those trying it for the first time, seeking extra practice, or wanting to play with other girls and friends.

Most importantly, Durham Football School is all about having loads of fun and meeting amazing new friends.
The sessions are held weekly after school. They offer an environment where girls can engage in football, develop fundamental skills, try different activities, learn new things, and build a foundation for a lifelong interest in sports.

...and it offers a chance for competitive football teams. For players wanting to join an age-appropriate team, DFSFG is the ideal pathway to club football, such as Durham United YFC.

Durham Football School for Girls, organised by Durham United Youth FC, partners with Durham High School. Sessions will utilise the school's excellent indoor facilities.

Spring 2025 Dates:
Day: Every Friday (during school term time)
Start Date: Friday 7th Mar to 4th April (5 weeks)

Summer Term dates to follow.

Sessions Details:
Train & Play Group 1 : 4.00 – 4.50pm – Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 girls
Train & Play Group 2 : 5.00 – 5.50pm – Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6 girls
Venue: Sport Hall @ Durham High School, Farewell Hall, South Road, Durham, DH1 3TB.

Cost: First two sessions are free, then it is £4 per session or **Term Fee (x No of weeks/Fridays)

**All players will be provided with a football jersey upon signing up & paying Term Fee.

Lead Coach: Billy Horn, The FA’s National Coach Developer for Northeast & FA Female Game Mentor, and prior to the FA Billy was 20 years at Sunderland and Middlesbrough as Academy Coach and Player ID.
