After a late start to the season, the 3G at Maiden Castle came in to its own after October as the boys were able to catch up on their main rivals winning start - Durham Corinthians, Gateshead Leam Rangers and Easington Lane.

The Clarets sealed the title with a 2-1 home win over Richmond Town before a Saturday 4-2 win at Anfield Plain.

Having lost only 4 games all season, scoring 87 goals and conceding just 19 the lads return to action after the promotion party against 2nd place chasers Leam Rangers - match result lost 2-1.
